When my sons and I relocated to Washington, we were looking for a new addition to our family that was inexpensive. We started out by volunteering at the Benton Franklin Humane Society. Then, my sons came up with the “brilliant” idea of adopting a kitten. Our first adoption was a different challenge due to the kitten needing to be raised on a farm. The kitten didn’t really like being around people, so the farm option was suitable for her needs. When we went back, the staff was very helpful in finding our next adoption.
When we started our process in finding another kitten, Mr. Tobby followed my youngest around the room trying to get his attention. We didn’t want an older cat, but the staff suggested we “try” him out. It was love at first meow. Mr. Tobby was timid at first, but he captured our hearts. Now, we can’t imagine our lives without him.
So, if you are looking to rescue an animal and you want good service, might I suggest Benton-Franklin Humane Society, if you live in the Tri-cities Washington area. They are amazing!
